Daarbij wordt zonlicht omgezet naar elektriciteit. Minder bekend is zonthermisch. Daarbij wordt gebruik gemaakt van de warmte van de zon. Zonthermische collectoren zijn met name geschikt om warm water te produceren, maar dat doen ze dan wel tot 4 keer zo effici\u00ebnt als een PV paneel. Bij een zonnecollector zit die extra stap er niet tussen. Zonnewarmte gaat rechtstreeks het water in. Steeds meer mensen over de hele wereld omarmen nu het gebruik van zonnepanelen om aan hun energiebehoeften te voldoen, omdat het hernieuwbaar is en de ecologische voetafdruk vermindert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Er zijn twee soorten directe zonne-energietechnologie:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>fotovolta\u00efsche zonne-energie (PV)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>thermische zonne-energie<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Fotovolta\u00efsch is vrij bekend. De meeste panelen die je ziet op daken en in weilanden zijn fotovolta\u00efsch. Deze panelen wekken elektriciteit op. Deze warmte wordt opgeslagen in water. Bij deze technologie spreken we niet van zonnepanelen, maar van zonnecollectoren. De collectoren bestaan uit buizen met een overdrachtsvloeistof. Dit is meestal een mengsel van water en glycol (antivries), dat voorkomt dat het water bevriest en anderzijds ook zorgt voor een hogere temperatuursbestendigheid. Dit mengsel dat uit de collector is opgewarmd, wordt vervolgens in een warmtewisselaar gepompt die zich in de watertank bevindt. De warmtewisselaar wordt daardoor warm en geeft die warmte weer af aan het sanitair tapwater in de tank.<br \/>Als alle warmte is afgegeven, stroomt de vloeistof terug naar de collectoren om opnieuw te worden verwarmd. Thermische zonne-energie is vooral geschikt voor het verwarmen van water.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 id=\"hoe-werkt-thermische-zonne-energie\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">100% hernieuwbare energie. Realistisch of niet?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 19px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-157895\" src=\"https:\/\/aosmithinternational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1389x321-harten-21-1024x235.jpg\" alt=\"extreme weersituaties comfort\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 39px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De energietransitie beweegt steeds meer richting de situatie waarin alle energie voortkomt uit hernieuwbare bronnen. Dat is niet eenvoudig en dat betekent dat we ook met zonne-energie steeds bewuster om moeten gaan. Een rendement van 15% tot 20% voor fotovolta\u00efsche zonne-energie is dan eigenlijk nog niet zoveel. Zeker vergeleken met thermische zonne-energie waarbij ongeveer 90% van de opbrengst kan worden toegepast.<br \/>Voor ruimteverwarming en warm sanitair water is thermische zonne-energie dus heel effici\u00ebnt. En, als je zon thermisch combineert met een warmtepomp heb je een zeer duurzame warmwater installatie die kan voorzien in de warmwater behoefte.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/aosmithinternational.com\/be-nl\/nieuws-be-nl\/dimensioneren\/\">100% duurzaam of 80 tot 90%?<\/a><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 25px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 id=\"hoe-werkt-thermische-zonne-energie\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kan thermisch ook omgezet worden in elektriciteit?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 21px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ja, dat kan. Door middel van een warmtemotor en een generator kan elektriciteit gemaakt worden uit warmte.
