A.O. Smith is also ISO 14001 certified for the environmental management system used and its application to the design, manufacture, sale, commissioning and maintenance of hot water, heating and water treatment systems.

Hygiene also plays a major role when it comes to hot tap water. For this purpose, we have a legionella program in many of our products, provide support in annual maintenance and many of our heat pumps and boilers achieve temperatures of no less than 70°C. In addition, many of our hot water systems are equipped with built-in legionella prevention systems to combat harmful bacteria. This way, you do not have to worry about this hygiene aspect and you know that the hot water can be used safely.
