Ces tests montrent que c\u2019est possible, mais aucun de ces produits ne sera vendu \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle dans un avenir proche.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le terme \u00ab\u00a0hydrogen ready\u00a0\u00bb a actuellement diff\u00e9rentes d\u00e9finitions, ce qui peut conduire \u00e0 un manque de clart\u00e9. Ces combustibles fossiles sont transform\u00e9s en hydrog\u00e8ne par r\u00e9action chimique. Le CO<sub>2<\/sub> se lib\u00e8re pendant la production.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-219793\" src=\"https:\/\/aosmithinternational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Hydrogen-green.-blue.-greyFR-8.jpg\" alt=\"hydrog\u00e8ne gris, bleu et vert\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne vert est produit de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente. Dans ce cas, les mol\u00e9cules d\u2019eau (H<sub>2<\/sub>O) sont scind\u00e9es par \u00e9lectrolyse. De l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, donc. Apr\u00e8s \u00e9lectrolyse, on obtient de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H) et de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne (O). L\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne n\u2019est pas polluant et, si l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est produite de mani\u00e8re durable, on obtient alors de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne \u00ab vert \u00bb.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne bleu est une solution interm\u00e9diaire. Le CO<sub>2<\/sub> lib\u00e9r\u00e9 par la production (chimique) d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne gris \u00e0 partir de combustibles fossiles est capt\u00e9 et stock\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne vert est-il toujours une bonne solution durable ?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 15px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>En ce qui concerne l\u2019efficacit\u00e9, une alternative \u00e9lectrique directe l\u2019emporte toujours. En effet, la production d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne engendre d\u00e9j\u00e0 de grosses pertes d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique (de 20 \u00e0 40 %). En d\u2019autres termes, le rendement de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est de 60 \u00e0 80 % par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 directement utilisable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-219815\" src=\"https:\/\/aosmithinternational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Groene-waterstofFR-8.jpg\" alt=\"hydrog\u00e8ne vert\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Toutefois, lorsque nos r\u00e9seaux \u00e9lectriques sont surcharg\u00e9s, il est possible de transformer l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 exc\u00e9dentaire en hydrog\u00e8ne et de stocker cet hydrog\u00e8ne pour une utilisation ult\u00e9rieure. En effet, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne se stocke bien mieux que l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Pour l\u2019industrie lourde, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne constitue le moyen le plus efficace de se durabiliser. Atteindre des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es consomme \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de courant. Les combustibles gazeux y sont beaucoup mieux adapt\u00e9s. De plus, on ne peut pas d\u00e9pendre des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques pour ces processus. Dans ce cas, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est donc la meilleure solution durable ( \u00e0 condition qu\u2019il soit vert ! ).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne n\u2019est pas si efficace<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 15px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Lorsque nous utilisons de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne vert pour le chauffage de nos maisons ou pour nos transports, nous transformons l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 verte en hydrog\u00e8ne vert avec une perte d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de 20 \u00e0 40 %. Il vaut donc mieux utiliser d\u2019autres m\u00e9thodes durables telles qu\u2019un chauffe-eau solaire, une chaudi\u00e8re \u00e9lectrique, une pompe \u00e0 chaleur ou un dispositif combin\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Mais si nous voulons passer au tout \u00e9lectrique, m\u00eame pour le chauffe-eau ou la chaudi\u00e8re et une borne de recharge pour la voiture, nous avons alors besoin d\u2019une tr\u00e8s grande quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Cela a un impact sur la capacit\u00e9 des raccordements \u00e9lectriques dans les logements et les entreprises, alors que les r\u00e9seaux \u00e9lectriques sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 surcharg\u00e9s. Pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub> \u00e0 court terme, nous devrons explorer d\u2019autres options. L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est assur\u00e9ment l\u2019une d\u2019elles.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quels sont les avantages de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 ?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 15px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Contrairement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne, tout comme le gaz, peut \u00eatre stock\u00e9 physiquement. L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne peut ainsi compenser les diff\u00e9rences saisonni\u00e8res dans la disponibilit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne peut \u00eatre transport\u00e9 par train ou par camion, mais aussi via un pipeline. Il est par exemple possible d\u2019utiliser la bonne infrastructure gazi\u00e8re aux Pays-Bas \u00e0 cet effet.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Pour les personnes qui parcourent de longues distances en voiture : un v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne se recharge plus rapidement qu\u2019une voiture \u00e9lectrique.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sente des caract\u00e9ristiques similaires \u00e0 celles du gaz naturel ou du propane, par exemple.
