TWI | High school

Abbey Grange is a successful secondary school in Leeds that is aided by the Church of England. It has a specialist status as a Humanities College specializing in English, History and Religious Studies. The school emphasizes moral, spiritual and cultural values to their 1250 students.

Nia-Con Ltd. from Bradford, West Yorkshire, has installed 2 TWI 45-190 water heaters from A.O. Smith to provide the school with a reliable hot water system. The consultant in this project is CKK Design Ltd. from Leeds, West Yorkshire. The two Twister water heaters in this project have been equipped with unvented kits into a common flue system.

The Twister is a fully room-sealed condensing HE water heater that is environmentally friendly, low maintenance and whisper quiet. It is suitable for natural gas and for propane and has a stainless steel tank and no anodes to simplify the maintenance. In addition, the high temperature settings, the fast ratio to have hot water available as well as the full serviceability from the front make this Twister an ideal hot water source for industrial applications.
