Built adjacent to an existing public sports centre plus outdoor track and field facilities, this building is used by local schools in the daytime and the public in the evenings. It is hoped that these facilities will also contribute to the warm up facilities for the nearby 2012 London Olympics.

The hot water system comprises of an SGS 60 water heater with an ITE 400 solar pre-heat vessel with 5 solar collectors on the roof, these have been tilted back as far as possible to reduce the impact on the building.
